How long does it take for my order to ship?

We try to ship all orders within 2 to 5 business days. During high volume periods, i.e. sales and holidays, order processing times may increase. If you have any questions about your order, please email us at [email protected] and we will be happy to help you.

 

HOW DO I EDIT MY ORDER?

To to add products, remove products, update your shipping address, or cancel your order please email [email protected]. Please note, once your order has been assigned tracking we are unable to make changes to your order. 

 

Do you accept international orders?

We ship to the following:

How do I get free shipping?

Any order over $100 within the continental U.S. qualifies for free shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping internationally, or to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories.

 

Do you charge sales tax?

We are required to charge sales tax in the following states:

California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Washington DC.

 

If the product I want to order is out of stock, can I be notified when it is in?

We do our best to keep all of our products in stock. Once in a while, we need a day or two to catch up. Please email us at [email protected] with any questions and we would be happy to let you know when the item is expected back in stock.

 

What is the best way to care for my Apotheke candle?

THE FIRST BURN IS IMPORTANT

Always light your candle on a flat, fireproof surface and never leave it unattended. The first time you light your candle, let it burn until the melted pool of wax reaches the edge of the glass. This will help it perform optimally every time you light it.

BURN SMART

Always burn your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface away from drafts, and do not burn for more than 3-4 hours. Wait until the wax fully solidifies before relighting to preserve the fragrance.

TRIM YOUR WICKS

Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4" for an ideal, clean burn, and keep wick trimmings out of the wax.

KNOW WHEN TO QUIT

When your candle gets down to 1/2" of wax, it's time to let it go.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY APOTHEKE Reed diffuser?

PROTECT YOUR SURFACES

Always place your Reed Diffuser on a stable surface. To protect your home from possible spillage please make sure your Reed Diffuser is placed on a coaster or other protected surface. 

SETTING UP YOUR REED DIFFUSER

Carefully remove the bottle plug, untie the reed stick bundle, and place reeds into the bottle. As the oil is absorbed by the reeds, fragrance will begin to diffuse. 

FLIP THE REEDS WEEKLY

Flip the reeds weekly or as desired to intensify fragrance diffusion. 

PLACE IN A HIGH TRAFFIC AREA

Place in your entry way or other high traffic area of your home. As people walk by the Reed Diffuser, the scent will trail behind them into other rooms in the home. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Think about a Reed Diffuser as a bouquet of flowers. While it will provide scent around the area in which it was placed, it is not going to fill your entire home from corner to corner with fragrance. 

BE STRATEGIC

Pick up more than one and place them in several key locations in your home. Identify different scents for different rooms. Perhaps Canvas for the powder room, Sea Salt Grapefruit for the entry way, and Charcoal for the bedroom. Have fun with it! 

HOW LONG WILL MY REED DIFFUSER LAST?

Lasts 3-4 months depending on individual use. 

 

Are all of your products scented with essential oils?

All of our skin products are scented and only use natural, plant based ingredients. Our candles are made of a soy wax blend and perfume grade fragrance oils for strong, long lasting fragrance. Our reed diffusers also have fragrance oils in them - that's what allows them to transfer fragrance into your space.

 

Why doesn't my bar soap have a strong scent?

Our bar soaps are lightly scented with essential oils so they work well with all skin types. Our goal is not to overpower your senses, but to provide a subtle aromatherapy experience as you bathe or shower. If it seems dull, try using it a little more! When you get through the dry, outer layer it'll release more fragrance.

 

Can I see an ingredient list?

We focus on using natural, plant based ingredients. Our candles are made from a soy wax blend and perfume grade fragrance that is a proprietary blend. Our liquid soaps and lotions are both paraben and phthalate free. See a full list of the ingredients. If you have concerns about a specific ingredient please email [email protected]

What is your online return policy?

APOTHEKE is happy to return any unopened merchandise up to 15 days after it is received. Please see the returns page for further details.

All sale and custom items are final sale.

 

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrived damaged, we would be happy to either send a replacement or offer you a refund. Please email [email protected] with details regarding your order. Please note that photographs of the damaged items in question are required for us to process any replacement or refund, so please be sure to include them in your email.

 

Why was my order canceled?

All orders are subject to our approval. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order placed based on incorrect pricing or availability information. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions regarding your order.

How long does the private label process take?
